About

Founded by Laine Kay-Lambert and Chris Craig in 2021 from their home in London, Art School was born out of a desire to curate a space to showcase rising British talent in the printmaking field. During a decade-long career working for galleries and art advisories, they were frequently approached by friends and family to source art for their home but quickly realised that there were few convenient ways to shop for artworks at an affordable level.

Collecting prints has been an inexpensive way to buy art that is still unique but with the rise of digital printmaking, analogue methods are no longer appreciated as they once were. Art School was created as a space to celebrate traditional processes and shine a light on the artists who are pushing the boundaries of these mediums. We are not about representing artists but championing them and their practices and work alongside them to commission artworks exclusively for Art School in limited editions.

Nothing can completely replace seeing art in person, so alongside our online platform, we also organise events, studio visits and demonstrations for collectors to engage and learn more about the printmaking processes.

The art world can often be quite daunting, so whatever your budget, we are here to talk about your collecting journey from printmaking and beyond. Art School offers a free art advisory service to help commission artworks, source pieces and sell on behalf of collectors. Connect with us to help you find the perfect artwork for your space, style and budget.
