Neill Clements is a painter and printmaker based in Kent. He studied at Staffordshire University (BA Hons Fine Art, 2004) and Wimbledon College of Art (MA Painting, 2009) and has exhibited across the UK and internationally. Clements’ practice stands on the belief that painting and printmaking is at its most compelling when it addresses the specific strengths and unique abilities of the medium and is concerned with the fundamental material qualities of image making rather than a vehicle chosen to deliver a message. He creates bold, tactile works which explore colour, form and surface and his main interest is to create work with a material and visual presence.
