Linear Trio

This unique print by Richard Marsden is part of a larger series of one-off works that he has been working on this year. His works are inspired by construction and are created by building in two-dimensions until a visual balance is created in each print. Sometimes like Linear Trio, this is created very quickly, and Richard had to stop himself from adding any further layers in order to not lose the delicacy of tone. When discussing this print with him, he told us that sometimes he spends a long time looking at a print and coming back to it before realising it is actually finished.
