Columns (series)

Columns, is a new series of works by Richard Marsden consisting of four unique screenprints on Somerset Velvet Newsprint. These works were originally made while Marsden was printing an older editioned print but were left unfinished. Often the artist will leave his work in storage for a long time and revisit it later. These works might never be completed but often he is inspired to return to them whilst working on new screens, adding additional layers to transform the work until a visual balance is achieved.
